About face-to-face fundraisers
You might see our Vision Australia‘s professional fundraisers at your local shopping centre or visiting homes as part of our door-knocking efforts. Every day, they’re out in the community, engaging with people about the vital role of Vision Australia. Along with raising awareness, they aim to recruit Vision Guides who commit to making regular donations.
Vision Australia relies on the generosity of individuals across Australia. We simply couldn’t provide the life-changing support we do today without everyday people giving so generously.
Our face-to-face fundraisers are professional, passionate advocates for our organisation, dedicated to making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
How to identify a face-to-face fundraiser
Our face-to-face fundraisers can be identified by their yellow and blue Vision Australia branded clothing and an ID badge on a lanyard that states "Paid Collector."
Their badge includes their photograph, first name, and ID number.
You may find them at shopping centres or doorknocking as they share information about Vision Australia and invite people to become Vision Guides.
These fundraisers are different from volunteers at community events. They do not accept cash or cheques. Their goal is to sign up supporters for regular donations via credit card or direct debit.
