The Content is generic and does not take into account the circumstances, physical wellbeing, mental status or medical requirements of a particular person which are relevant to the correct diagnosis and treatment of any problem, condition, disease, injury, ailment or disorder. The Content is not diagnostic or prescriptive and does not replace the services or advice of a qualified health care professional.  The Vision Australia Site does not give, or purport to give, any medical advice.  By using this website, you agree that you have not, nor will, rely upon the Content for the purpose of any medical assessment or treatment of any person.

In addition, the Vision Australia Site may contain or make available data sheets, email lists, mailout or newsletter services, service provider details, or other tools and facilities which may be of use to you. Whilst Vision Australia has taken reasonable effort to provide such features that are accurate and free from defect, Vision Australia does not warrant the accuracy, correctness or completeness of these features, which are provided on an "as is" basis.

 

Donations and payments

You may wish to donate money to Vision Australia, purchase Lottery tickets or various other Vision Australia products or merchandise, via the Vision Australia Site.

Making a donation or purchasing lottery tickets

Your donation details and credit card details for payment will be collected and stored in-house by Vision Australia, processed within a reasonable timeframe and deleted once successfully processed.

 

Purchasing products, merchandise or services

All products and services offered on the Vision Australia Site and all prices displayed are subject to change without notice.  The prices for the goods supplied include GST (if applicable).  Some products listed are GST exempt.

By placing an order with Vision Australia for any products and services, you are entering into a legally binding agreement with Vision Agreement, on the terms and conditions set out herein.

Product availability

If goods or services are discontinued or temporarily out of stock, our Customer Service team will try to contact you as soon as possible, and suggest alternative options.  If those options are not suitable, we will cancel the order and refund your payment.

 

Shipping within Australia

All goods are for purchase and shipping within Australia.  Unless otherwise agreed, Vision Australia will cancel international orders and refund payment.

Vision Australia will not configure, ship or deliver goods until clear payment has been received in Vision Australia’s bank account.

Vision Australia will deliver the goods or services to the address you nominate, using standard domestic postage services.  Vision Australia will not be liable for any loss or damage to the goods occurring during or after delivery to the nominated address.  It is up to you to insure the goods during transit.  Vision Australia is not responsible for any delivery failure outside Vision Australia’s reasonable control, including but not limited to fire, embargo, strike, travel restrictions, pandemic or epidemics.

 

Timing

Vision Australia endeavours to deliver any goods, services, or merchandise ordered within 2 to 14 working days, from confirmation of your order.  If the goods are not received within this time, the Customer should contact Vision Australia on 1300 84 74 66 to notify the delay and ensure that the purchase has been processed.

 

Delivery timing

Vision Australia endeavours to deliver any goods or services ordered within 2 to 14 working days of your order confirmation . This is an estimate only. If the goods or services are not received within this time, you should call Vision Australia on 1300 84 74 66.

If for any reason delivery is not possible within 14 working days, Vision Australia will contact you, and give you the option to cancel your order and receive a refund.

This webstore is not suitable for urgent or time critical orders. Vision Australia is not responsible for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly from delay in delivery, whether the delay is caused by Vision Australia or otherwise.

 

Details required from you

You must provide the following details to make an order:

Warranties

You are entitled to rights under the Australian Consumer Law.  You are entitled to a replacement for or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.  You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Except as provided for in the Australian Consumer Law and these Terms of Supply, all express and implied warranties, representations, guarantees and conditions under law as to merchantability, description, quality, suitability or fitness of the goods or services for any purpose, or as to design, materials, workmanship or otherwise are expressly excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.

In relation to any warranty, guarantee or condition under law that cannot be lawfully excluded, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Vision Australia’s liability is limited, and at the absolute discretion of Vision Australia, to:

  1. the supply of the goods or services again; or
  2. the payment of the cost of resupplying the goods or services again.

Products may contain warranty documents on or inside the packaging provided by the manufacturer or distributor of the product.  Any such warranty is not given by Vision Australia.

 

Limitation of liability

Subject to law, Vision Australia, and its directors, employees, agents, volunteers and contractors, do not accept liability to you for any losses, damages, liabilities, claims and expenses (including but not limited to legal costs and defence or settlement costs) whatsoever, whether direct, indirect or consequential, arising out of or referable to the supply or your use of the goods or services, howsoever caused.

 

Indemnity

You indemnify Vision Australia for any loss or damage, howsoever caused, which is suffered by Vision Australia as a result of your breach of these Terms of Supply.

 

 

Acceptance and changes to these terms of Use

By using this website you agree to these Terms of Use. Vision Australia may at any time vary the Terms of Use by publishing the varied Terms of Use on the Vision Australia Site. You accept that by doing this, Vision Australia has provided you with sufficient notice of the variation.

 

Jurisdiction

The law applicable to the Vision Australia Site and to disputes arising out of the Vision Australia Site is the law of the State of Victoria, Australia.
