This is a free online event open to the Vision Australia community, hosted at 2.00pm AEDT, October 30.
Halloween is fast approaching; the Vision Australia Library invite all our horrorphiles to join us for a spine-chilling hour of terror!
We are hosting this year’s the winner of the Aurealis Award for Best Horror Novel, Chris Flynn, for a hair-raising Author Reading from his award-winning novel, Orpheus Nine.
Our Halloween themed event will commence with an introduction to Chris, providing an insight into his background and the journey that led him from Belfast to living next door to a penguin sanctuary on Phillip Island. More importantly, the experiences that led him to become an award-winning author of four books, a story collection and a series of children’s books.
Chris will then choose a passage from Orpheus Nine and treat us to a live twenty-minute reading.
Our library members will have the opportunity to post questions and contribute to a lively Q&A to conclude our event.
