Event description
On this dedicated day, a transdisciplinary team – including a specialist Manual Arts Instructor – will guide teens through a hands-on journey in woodworking. Through structured lessons, collaborative projects, and individual craftsmanship, participants will develop foundational and advanced skills in working with wood, from understanding materials and using tools safely to refining their techniques.
Over the course of the year, they will not only build their technical expertise but also cultivate creativity, problem-solving abilities, and a sense of pride in their craftsmanship. By the end of the program, each teen will have crafted a unique, personally meaningful wooden treasure, a testament to their growth and dedication.
This program is also available on Thursdays - register for Woodshop Thursdays.
