Event description
Vision Australia's teenage clients are invited to join staff on a visit to Microsoft’s Sydney office for a day of exploring how that workplace works.
Teens will get:
- a tour of the Microsoft Sydney office
- a taste of the accessibility and inclusion culture within this workplace
- an understanding of Microsoft as a company, and how all the different pieces of the organisation work together to produce Microsoft products
- descriptions of different roles at Microsoft
- the opportunity to see how customer service and professional relationship-building conversations actually happen.
Joined by the Children and Young People team, teens will learn from people who do different kinds of jobs. They'll find out what they do, how, where and why they do it, and how they got there.
This full day excursion will help teens clarify their thinking about the workplace, and where and how they may like to work in their future career.
