Event description

For first-time authors, navigating the road to publishing can be as daunting as writing the actual manuscript. After months, and sometimes years, of writing and editing; typing those final words is only the first step in the publishing journey.

Vision Australia Library’s upcoming programme, The Road to Publishing, will demystify the confusing and often intimidating process of transitioning your manuscript to publication.  We will show you how to avoid the potholes, navigate the chicanes, manoeuvre your way through the round abouts and safely deliver your manuscript out to the world.

Presented by writer and editor, Nadine Davidoff, these workshops will focus on the essentials of revision and editing, the importance of cover letters and the crucial synopsis. Culminating in the final step, researching who the right publisher is for you and your work.

About Nadine Davidoff

Nadine is a freelance book editor with extensive trade publishing experience.
