Vision Australia’s Travel Days for 2020 are now open for bookings.
Come along and get hands-on experience of negotiating interesting locations around Brisbane, Gold Coast or Sunshine Coast whilst also making new friends.
Vision Australia 2020 Travel Days
- Wednesday 19 February - Gold Coast Location: G-Link and Australia Fair
- Thursday 5 March – Brisbane Domestic Airport adventure. New facilities and features update.
- Tuesday 21 April – Historic tour of Brisbane and it's public transport. This day is in partnership with Brisbane City Council
- Wednesday 6 May – Sunshine Coast location: Exploration of Maroochydore Plaza and transit area
- Thursday 11 June – Brisbane By Night Adventure and new city developments. This night is in partnership with Brisbane City Council
- Wednesday 8 July – Brisbane International Airport
- Thursday 6 August – Gold Coast location: G-Link and Pacific Fair.
- Thursday 15 October - International White Cane Day
- Wednesday 3 December - International Day of People with Disability and Vision Australia's Explorer’s forum.
All travel days will require you to be of a moderate to high level of fitness. You are welcome to bring a companion if you wish.
