How to enter

  1. Please complete the following form, then
  2. Attach an image (photo or scan) of your artwork, to an email and send it to [email protected].
  3. Please include your name and the name of the entrant in the email

Terms and conditions of entry

  • Artwork must be an original painting or drawing and completed within the last 12 months. Digital art, collages or photographs will not be accepted. Entries must be appropriate for a decorative, family wall calendar.
  • Only one piece of artwork per artist, an individual, will be accepted. No group submissions.
  • Artwork must be suitable to be reproduced (printed) in an A3 landscape format. The calendar size is L 440 mm x H 297 mm.
  • The competition is open to all ages, residing within Australia only.
  • Submissions must be high-quality, high-resolution photos sent as digital files.
  • Vision Australia is not responsible for the photography of any artwork.
  • The entries will be assessed by a panel of Vision Australia staff. The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • All successful applicants will be contacted by phone or email.
  • Winning artists will be asked to provide a short bio of themselves that will form part of the printed calendars and diary and any marketing promotional posts.
  • By entering the artwork competition (you) the artist, consent to giving Vision Australia permission to use your image, your artwork, name and other details as within the bio information for a period of two years for marketing purposes. Some artists may be interviewed by the media for publicity purposes.
  • Vision Australia does not take, keep, own or buy the original artworks.
  • The successful winning artists will receive a certificate and a generic gift card as determined by Vision Australia, to the value of $200, valid in Australia only.
