One hour with Lara Narkle 

Lara Nakhle is a 26-year-old blind singer, songwriter, and music therapist who has been inspiring audiences since she first discovered her passion for music as a toddler. A standout contestant on The Voice in 2017, Lara has since performed at major events like the Invictus Games, Tamworth Country Music Festival, and Vision Australia’s Carols by Candlelight.

With a Masters in Creative Music Therapy, Lara uses her talents to help others achieve their dreams while pursuing her own. She’s released five original tracks, including her uplifting 2023 single New Day, and is the voice behind AAMI’s iconic jingle. Lara’s story proves that with talent and determination, anything is possible.

One hour with John Bramblitt 

John Bramblitt is a world-renowned blind artist, keynote speaker, inclusion advocate, and best-selling author of Shouting in the Dark.  

After losing his sight in 2001 due to epilepsy and Lyme disease, John discovered painting as a way to reconnect with his passion and rebuild his life. Teaching himself to identify colours by touch and navigate canvases with raised lines, John developed a unique artistic style that captures the essence of his subjects. His work has been sold in over 120 countries, featured in major media outlets like CBS and The New York Times, and celebrated in award-winning documentaries.

One hour with Cobhams Emmanuel Asuqou 

Born blind, Cobhams Emmanuel Asuquo began his journey aspiring to become a lawyer but soon decided to follow his true passion for music. Today, he is an internationally acclaimed Nigerian songwriter, music producer, and singer.

Cobhams has collaborated with Afro music stars like Asa and produced hits which blend soul, gospel, R&B, and Afropop. A UNICEF Ambassador and TEDx speaker, he uses his platform to support global causes and inspire audiences worldwide, including performing at the Global Citizen Festival alongside music legends.
